Captain Trygg
Born and raised in Port Hardy British Columbia his passion for fishing started from the very beginning. His guiding exerpience started as a young teen at his families fishing lodge in Quatsino BC and in 2012 he purchased the Steele Rock from his father and began Steele Rock Charters fishing out of Port Hardy.
Trygg makes sure to visit Rivers Inlet each summer on a personal trip to quench his thirst of catching (and releasing) some of the largest salmon in the world.
In the last few years he has also become a passionate fly fisherman and discovered the world famous Tyee Pool in Campbell River
Trygg now resides year round in Port Hardy with his wife and two children and is eager to share his love for fishing.
